making fun of someone genuinely trying to learn punjabi is so fucked. at least they are making the effort to learn how to speak it. not everyone grows up in a household where punjabi is spoken & ofc the pronunciation is not perfect esp in the start but they are trying their best

Encouragement is needed, so many second generation and even first generation people are trying to learn Punjabi and it is commendable not something to make fun of. Keep doing your thing

have that same energy for people who are trying to learn English, esp apne who are new immigrants instead of calling them FOBs, dips etc. When the shoes on the other foot, it doesn’t feel so good, does it?
