I built a tar1090 ADSB setup built today. High quality omni antenna on the roof with an LNA and 1090 SAW filter. RTL-SDR really proving why it's so popular with detections out to 150nm. Total cost was ~$300. Hard to believe each airplane below is from my own RF detection.

Rivian makes quality cars and has a good approach to autonomy. However I have seen very little evidence of a true focus on capital efficiency. I fault RJ Scaringe for that. I want Rivian to be profitable because that’s the only way they can survive. RJ needs to be hyper focused
@hamids So the best car manufacturers in the world can't make money selling EVs but Rivian can? I will believe it when I see it. So far I am not seeing them be capital efficient at all.
