The year is 2076, my children’s children have still not played Hytale.

The fall off of Ethan Klein and H3 needs to be studied by future generations. Lad slowly became what he used to mock, the lack of self awareness is mind blowing 🫣.

So first this guy shits all over Wilbur, then he himself gets accused of some shit, then the George shit happens, then Dream cries on Twitter live, and now there was also some weird e-dating love triangle? .I mean for fuck sake what am I reading get a fucking grip.

Exactly right, people live vicariously through content creators instead of going outside and living their own lives. They don’t have lives.

You sit inside like a hermit, and while the money is good even as a medium sized creator, generally you live an exceedingly unhealthy life. A lot of YouTubers in the MC Community are seriously mentally fucking ill, with no standing in real life because they are genuinely freaks.

Among other reasons, this is part of why I stopped uploading. I outgrew it, but I also fell out of love with it. Growing up all I wanted was to be a YouTuber, and I worked very hard to succeed, but in reality it’s a pretty sad life.

None of it is real and almost everybody is chronically online, social inept, with a constantly slipping grip on reality. Internet as a whole is a good thing, but it has also fucked a lot of people up beyond repair.

Majority of these YouTubers in the MC Community going back for years are all the best of friends, until there is no longer anything to gain. Then the knives come out, people are stabbed in the back and thrown under the bus. It’s a blood sucking world of social climbing bullshit.

Viewers think they are friends with the people they watch, feel personally connected and the creators take advantage of it and pander for more interactions. This causes a vicious circle of fake shite that spirals into bad situations.

The last few weeks reading a lot of this shit about all these YouTubers, only reaffirms to me that the para-social aspect of the YouTuber-viewer relationship has long spiraled out of control.
