I am just a poor boy though my story's seldom told. https://t.co/L3iu1TWjlJ https://t.co/n4P8je7ZWX #Sonic is NOW https://t.co/mE2EviCTCn

A simple poll should show what people think about the Beets proposal on $S Will collate some information below for people to review.

@beets_fi So people that were affected from the liquidations this caused as the hackers dumped are not worthy of compensation? Not a good time to rehash guys, would have thought after the first backlash this would have been withdrawn by now. Not to mention a 4x larger amount then was

@cubestacker3 @SnakeOnSonic If we didn't care, we wouldn't have an opinion full stop. Additionally, just because we express our opinion on X and can be somewhat passionate doesn't mean we are also not about our business. Unfortunately, in Sonics case the only time we have gained clarity on matters is when

@SonicLabs @MitchellDemeter can you please publish a clear foundation view on the Beets 27M S proposal on Discourse? Right now, we only have “Labs will abstain”, but this decision clearly sets a precedent for: – how airdrop/ecosystem funds can be used – how future exploit

We’ve been building DeFi on Sonic because we believed in its long-term vision and wanted to be part of that story. I’ve already shared my view on the proposal itself, so I won’t repeat all of that...
If Sonic governance uses ~27M S of “ecosystem / growth” funds to retro-bailout a single DEX, it’s not a credibly neutral chain anymore. I'm strongly opposed to this proposal and, if this passes, I will put forth a proposal to wind down Origin’s Sonic deployments.

Then use the USDC acquired to do their business around the chain. This way, new cash is introduced in a way that can actually pump things and provide material support. Am I right? Who knows, give me a wink if this sounds correct @MitchellDemeter

So, how do they get cash? Selling the loaned S of course, but dumping it into the liquidity situation would cause actual harm to the ecosystem. The answer is obvious, a limit order. Let buys fill the order, so that only buy pressure is reduced and no sell pressure is added.

Even if they were to use the S to say, market buy eco tokens, that means they are selling S for the eco tokens, that means NO new cash is coming in, just the number of S each token is worth increases, helping no one. They need USDC to provide any benefit to Sonic.

Going to take a stab at the single sided LP deposited by @ResonanceFund. This is just my copium fueled take to try to make sense of it: Res was provided S as a "loan" to fuel the ecosystem. Now they can provide this to protocols as S, but then the protocol may dump it.

>we have 30 years runway without *having* to touch the token >proceeds to sell the token after -90% drawdown via obfuscated 1 tick concentrated LP anyway we don't *have* to do it, we just hate tokenholders THAT much @MitchellDemeter can we have some clarity on which of these 3

I had been having a hard time with some stuff, found some help and thought maybe I can give back and help someone who needs it to! So, men 30 and under, ask your questions here. Men 30 and over, answer them. We are all here together, let's make the most of it.

$fbomb family I might need your help. I've been pouring through various fbomb LP poolings and I came across this poor soul. https://t.co/jSbaAE6Wpg He has $8,000 in an LP trapped on a dead protocol (Solunea DEX on Arbitrum) I dont know if he knows how to interact with the

@btchydra187 Appreciate the response, but for the record, I don’t see Beets as a “competitor we need to fight”. One of the best parts of DeFi is exactly that we build with our competitors. Origin is very happy to collaborate with Beets or anyone else on Sonic, just as we have with other

I think you know what's going on. @SonicLabs @MitchellDemeter investigate and act. turn down the proposal for the sake of sonic.
.@MitchellDemeter this proposal represents the insider self enrichment tactics that have bled this ecosystem dry Step up to the plate. Turn down the proposal for snapshot on the simple basis that it offers no ecosystem growth value for $S ecosystem Neutrality is not an option

We’ve submitted a new governance proposal on Sonic to address losses from the Balancer Composable Stable Pool exploit. The proposal reallocates 27,129,103 S from the remaining airdrop budget to LPs in the stS | wS and wOS | wS Beets V2 pools, calibrated to the scale of the

So much for boosting user growth via builders... if this proposal passes Labs have a lot to answer to. The centralization, insider privileges, and mismanagement continues. https://t.co/PzFxOakbjK
Sonic Boom may have concluded, but #Sonic Gems are just getting started. Discover how apps on the Sonic mainnet can still participate in the ~200 million $S airdrop and boost user growth. 🔗 https://t.co/kYMw0yuUI3

Don't F this up @SonicLabs @beets_fi you should have built a more secure protocol. Same with @Balancer If this does pass it's clear that those two protocols have the majority S to vote with other than Labs...

First things first, I feel for LPs who got hit. I’ve already been hit once by hacks, including the multichain hack on Fantom, which still hurts and is a horrible outcome. That said, I strongly oppose...

@ShakaOz @MitchellDemeter No validator should be able to vote on proposals that financially reward themselves. Otherwise governance becomes a tool for self-serving decisions. What a load of BS. Where are the ethics on this chain. Ya'll already removed ya POL on our dex - yet still using the allocation to
