My entire team wrote an opinion paper about Common misconceptions of speciation research. Each section is written by 1-2 team members. The bulk of the writing happened during two writing retreats. It was a lot of fun and I am very happy with the result.

A reminder that the previous Governor halted Marcellus's execution indefinitely and put together a group to examine his case and look at clemency. Parson dismantled that group and restarted the execution despite the Prosecuting Attorney's pleas. He should never know peace.
i think it's important for people to see the public face of mike parson, the governor who, up to now, refuses to stop the state sponsored killing of marcellus williams, an innocent man. carrying out this execution is depraved and immoral. it can still be stopped though.

In following the amazing work @SashaGusevPosts is doing analyzing studies of complex trait architecture and heritability, just want to give a shoutout to the timeless work of Feldman and Lewontin (1975). Still very relevant today.

A powerful reflection. I’m proud of this person for figuring out a way to stand up and reach out for help in the midst of all he was dealing with. We all need each other.
Since launching #WhiteDudesforHarris last Friday, I have faced a barrage of right-wing attacks on Twitter, bizarrely focused on my weight rather than the actual message of what we're trying to accomplish. There have been countless posts about my body shape, with people zooming in

Really loving David Baum's metaphor of climbing "scientific mountains" and crossing "valleys of low credibility" when trying to explore new areas. Science as a landscape of knowledge with peaks we climb to see further... beautiful way to think about it! #Evol2024/#Evolution2024
