@insideclimate The most divers biome (instead of just the vague word environment) is the biogeographical Chocó, also endangered. I know that what you do is crucial to stop deforestation. News and communication are important. However/therefore it is important that the information be precise.

@insideclimate @PaulHBeckwith Europe cut down much of its forest a long time ago. America has cut down 1/3 or its original forest and now the remaining 90% is used as timber. It is hypocritical to expect that developing nations will not have the same instinct as they compete in this runaway economy.
