Are electric vehicles just as polluting as gasoline ones? Do solar panels only last 10 years? Do solar and wind energy components come with a carbon footprint as large as fossil fuels? Here are six things Michael Moore's new documentary got wrong.

@insideclimate There is room to maneuver and still Extinction #6 goes full. The movie makes that point and the push = back crowd is wanting their illusion perpetuated but little can stop train. We, the people of the world built a world built on money. It's a Carnot Engine at 2nd Law vs 0th Law.

@insideclimate @PaxNostrum Moore is not a scientist or engineer and that is very apparent when he talks about Climate Change.

@insideclimate Agree about the technical inaccuracies. But this much deeper problem that @MMFlint makes still holds:

@insideclimate Way out of date. I have to wonder if he didn't take a nap for a few years. I'm a little mystified.

@insideclimate Michael Moore is absolutely right that we live an illusion. Controller of world money needs to snap Earth Standing and ditch the debt based pyramid scheme. Like yesterday.

@insideclimate Does our way of life need to radically shift? Do we need to get millions of people to voluntarily use and consume less of everything incl. energy? Is capitalism an imperial exploitative system destroying the planet and people who are not alone on said planet? Do these next eh?

@insideclimate And let’s keep working to make panels even more efficient, more ethically sourced, and backed up by long lasting storage! We’ve come along way! Let’s keep moving forward!

@insideclimate @tatjanasuarez Yet, some points are and have been around for a while. Not conspiracy intended, but listening to this opens the debate. It’s the BBC, so, I guess is a safe bet.

@insideclimate Stop pretending that windmills and solar panels will save the planet. Stop pretending that consumption doesn't matter and that we can keep growing our population without destroying the environment.

@insideclimate It appears Moore is “inconveniently” wrecking the green fake news narrative. Those in the energy business have known it for years, too bad it takes a Celeb to finally expose the fraud.
