Our @ArtsAward club @Hawthorn_PS had a fantastic day yesterday @balticgateshead - learning all about @ProjectArtWorks residential in a gallery workshop and even having a go at creating their own abstract art piece 🎨. A big thank you to the Baltic crew for leading the workshop ⭐️

Year 5 at @BridgewaterSch came together as Bridgewater Sinfonia for the first time today in a musicianship session 🎵. The Young musicians started learning their winter repertoire through sol-fa games, lead by conductor @katrina_buzzard & piecing together the lyrics in groups ❄️

We were delighted to have BBC New Generation Artist @RidoutTimothy visit @Hawthorn_PS for a very special viola workshop. The children heard Tim play, and then worked on the tune “Mattachins” alongside him and their tutor @hannah_tatt - what an amazing experience! 🎻🎶
