Amazing discovery here from @TheCrick: "a double breakthrough, both for understanding the impact of air pollution & the fundamentals of how we get cancer." We hope this will lead to far more action to reduce #AirPollution at source, alongside new drugs. https://t.co/p19tHcOCjw

I love it when I'm asked to fly somewhere to speak at an event about the climate emergency, and I write to say I don't fly and to politely point out the absurdity of the request, and they redesign the event to enable virtual participation. It just happened again. Most satisfying.

The solid fuel burning season is well underway in Ireland. Spikes in PM pollution the last few nights in Ennis, Co. Clare, one of our well known pollution hotspots. Note the coincident peak in SO2 which is indicative of coal burning. @EnnisAirQuality @BetterEnnis @ClareCoCo
