I’ve had many respectful and heartfelt conversations with members of Victoria’s Jewish and Palestinian communities over the past two years and what unites them is a desire for peace, security and humanity - and a rejection of Antisemitism, Islamophobia and all forms of hate.

This funding will allow the ASRC to deliver frontline services such as mental health support and housing and ensures our refugee communities are given the support they need to make their home here in Victoria.

Huge thanks to @JacintaAllanMP, @IngridStitt, & @GayleTierney for backing people seeking asylum in Vic Budget. This continued support means we can keep delivering critical services – housing, food, health care, mental health support, FV help & TAFE access.

Heroin is an opioid and is a very different substance from cocaine and methamphetamine, although it often appears in a similar white powdered form. Small amounts of opioids can cause life-threatening overdose, especially in people who have never or rarely used opioids. 2/5 🧵
