I wish I could show my English teacher this picture who put me out of her classroom and told me I’d end up in jail for falling asleep in her class after sleeping in a park the night before. 3 books and one translated into Portuguese. Preorders:

Because this is how we push back against apathy, harm, and hate, and remind people they still matter, even in a world that makes it easy to feel forgotten. This is how we make the world better, even if it's just for one person.

If you can remind someone they're more than the invisibility forced on them, do it. If you can show love to people the world overlooks, do it. If you can help, no matter how small it seems, do it. If you can serve, do it.

Finding safe spaces that feel like home, not transactions, is a blessing in times like these.

Reminder:. Don’t let the weight of this world break you. It’s okay to rest and resist. It’s okay to stand up and sit down. It’s okay to advocate and still protect your mental health. It’s okay to speak up and guard your peace. Because if you don’t practice both, this world will.

The kind of people who fight for peace because they're tired of war—-externally and internally. The kind of people who refuse to ignore suffering just because they're comfortable in their privilege. The kind of people who don't just pray about justice but live it.

The kind of people who make sure those made invisible by stigma and systems are seen and heard. The kind of people who choose compassion over criticism and care over control. The kind of people who lift others up because life gets heavy and it's hard to rise alone.

This world needs more kind people-the kind of people who spread love because they know others may be carrying silent, unspoken battles. The kind of people who don't preach love while endorsing hate—and finding ways to justify the contradiction. The kind of people who truly.

Being a father means having the courage to heal from your own trauma so you don’t unknowingly pass it on to your children. Because fatherhood isn’t just about providing. It’s about presence, listening, and becoming whole—so your children don’t have to carry what you never had.

Trust the process. Especially when it looks like nothing’s happening or things aren’t processing. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean nothing’s moving. You’ve got to believe something is always happening beneath the surface.

The pain may feel unbearable. The setbacks may seem endless. But there’s still purpose in your story. Still breath in your lungs. Still something worth fighting for. You’re not alone, and this season does not get the final word! But God.

I’m writing for those pushing through the weight of this life—the misfits, the ones who didn’t have a clear path, the students trying to become more than what they’ve been labeled, the people who’ve been told they don’t belong. If that’s you—I see you. I’m with you.

Testimony:. 2 major car accidents in less than three years. Nerve damage. A permanent disability. More grief and trauma than I can even explain. And yet—I'm still here. Still healing. Still showing up. Still believing my story ain't over. Amen.

Today, my daughter and I were in a car accident. We were sitting still when someone slammed into the back of us and totaled the car. But what shook me even more was looking at the other driver’s car — it reminded me of the accident that almost took my life three years ago,.

We also laughed, grew closer, and found hope again. This Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m honoring the people who walked beside me. My family—my legacy, my heart, and my why I never gave up! I love my team! #Lesters.

We didn’t just survive the past three years—we healed through them. As a family, we faced loss, health challenges, and moments that changed us forever. We walked through grief, held each other through hard diagnoses, and kept showing up with love.
