Vendors set selling alcohol illegally outside @OracleParkSF again tonight. After my 6pm live shot I interviewed one vendor who told me he’s been doing this for 10 years. He says the citations are misdemeanors .. you go to court, it gets thrown out. Called it a cat & mouse game.

@hungryghosts161 99% of local news is bullshit like this. Thats why I’m not entirely sure the death of local news will make a difference in fighting disinformation

@zdroberts Honestly I think local news probably promotes disinformation more than fights it, on balance. There are exceptions of course but there's just soooooo much shit like "Tonight at 10: we interview Moms For Liberty about the dangerous reading material in the local kindergarten"

@hungryghosts161 When my now wife and I moved into our last neighborhood a 10 year old came over to interview us “for thr school newspaper” and the thrust of the article was “they live together but ARE NOT MARRIED!” Same energy here
