Caring for the trees. In the garden of our lil cottage we've inherited 3 veteran fruit trees - 2 apples & pear. The apples still produce, not the pear. I will observe these trees through the seasons, caring for & documenting their knarly, aged, beautiful bodies. 💚 #ecologies

Delighted that the "Routledge Handbook of Heritage and Gender" is fluttering its way into the world. It has been an honour working with these brilliant, generous and thoughtful authors. #Heritage #Gender

Women in Revolt exhibition at #WhitworthGallery obvs brilliant. But Małgorzata Mirga-Tas solo work is STUNNING. So gorgeous. I also love the mezzanine level revamp of the Everyday Art School.

The term "economically inactive" is both derogatory & misleading. People, often when ill or impacted by disability, are also unpaid carers & volunteers in some way even if not in paid employment. Everyone contributes to, and benefits from, diverse community economies & labour.

Literally worse than the Tories, and we’re not even a year in. Going further than George Osborne, cutting Personal Independence Payments. ‘No return to austerity’ they said, but austerity we’re getting, because they won’t touch the wealthy. #disabilitycuts
