Finished. π―πͺπ€ I am now convinced that Gerald Murnane is not so much an author as he is a magician. For here he pulls a novel that is equal parts fascinating, bewildering, and moving, out of thin air. I think Murnane might be insane. Camly, wonderfully, quietly insane.
Finished. π€ Picked this up overseas; read it cover to cover on the flight home. I like that this time loop is unlike others. That itβs seemingly senseless. That itβs inconsistent. And that our narrator hides within it, slowly devouring a world, alienated from it.
