1500 ewes lambed and 100 cows calved all outside between the two of us 🐑🐮 and our dogs have worked pretty hard too! 🐾 big thanks to both of our parents and my best mate who all helped us out with childcare whilst we worked silly hours. Team work makes the dream work! 🙌🏼

A career highlight as a farming mum: calving twin calves with a baby on my back and a 4 year old doing a performance of the Superkitties theme song behind the barrier, deciding she needed the toilet half way through the second calf being born Farm mums - you know the feeling

Thoughts on the @Nofence_AS collars so far… 1) huge time & labour saving 2) constantly able to monitor herd 3) huge potential for productive grazing management & fine tuning a pasture rotation Can’t buy them for the whole herd but very interesting trial to do with a few

Slowly coming back to real life 🐑🐾 I definitely underestimated c-section recovery, but it has been nice to take it a bit easier - probably the last chance I’ll get for a few years 😅

I haven’t been outside for 7 days, life beyond this little bubble feels on pause. I’m so looking forward to getting back to the farm with a healthy baby in tow 🤞🏼 The time has allowed me to start this amazing book though, just the slice of normality I needed! @theshepherdswi1

One week today I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy that we’ve called Rory William Alan by emergency c-section. He was a little early and a little small, and we have been on the neonatal ward ever since receiving outstanding care. Definitely the most surreal week of my life. 💛
