I will be fair and say STUFF like this has it's place, that said the biggest issue with shit like this is the fact that you end making everyone generic or REMOVE so much iconography from them that they get very lost, like Zatana here looks like discount Nico

Sometimes I like taking a little blast to the past and revisit some of my fav awful superhero redesigns. Relics of a bygone era, a guy being patronizing about what’s β€œpractical” for female characters when churning out designs and pitches that are, quite frankly, sludge.

The hard truth is no female character has enough popularity or significance to actually be up there in any trinity or more. Not Wonder Woman, Scarlet Witch, Zatana, Carol Danvers, or Storm. Being drawn a woman doesn't make them pillars of superheroes like many male heroes.
