the best part of the og wonka film is the wonkamania portion cause they brought an actual comedian in to write that part of the script. soz to you mel but you’re boring as shit and your jokes don’t land.

Holy shit I just realized: Nixon was planning the Watergate scandal at the same time the Wonka golden tickets thing happened in the movie. Theoretically if the movie takes place the year it's released, so many events are happening on top of Wonkamania.
