@banana_sethhh @mrv90191 Yes, in Tendai (technically Mahayana) and Shingon (Vajrayana) schools, Hindu deities made a greater appearance. Kangiten (Ganesha) is particularly sacred. But Shiva, Indra, Vishnu, appear as well. Systems like Shugendo (syncretic, asceticism in mountains developed from Tendai)
