A friend recently visited the CWGC Cemetery in Baghdad photographing one of 27 WW1 graves of RWR soldiers of Pte Thomas Langford of 9th Battalion serving in Mesopotamia during the capture of Baghdad in 1916-17. Landford, like many, died from illness or heat. #ww1 #lestweforget🌹
