Finally implemented a custom keyboard interrupt into my MS-DOS Mode X game engine. WASD movement in 8 directions is so smooth on the mini-386!. Perhaps sometime down the line I can also add Gravis Gamepad support. #gamedev #indiedev #msdos #retro #retroprogramming

Still same frame rate. The new blit with saturated addition takes 43 cycles per pixel in a 486. I think not bad given that there is no saturated add instruction; that was first seen in Pentium's MMX. #RetroProgramming
