Tested out the draw feature in @quizizz during my Year 7 lesson on directed number, getting the students to draw out double-sided counters to show me different ways of making -3. #mathstwitter #youcanwithquizizz @KyleNiemis

If I divide 13.7B by 55.9k, the result is 245 081 students. If I add the 35k accommodation to the R55.9k average cost, its 169 345 students, but that doesn't sound right. Please assist #MathsTwitter

#mathstwitter I'm trying to create some conditional probability questions within a distribution (think the calculator batteries Q from 2018). I've come up with the attached but could use some help coming up with a few more. Any help is appreciated and hopefully fun too! @mathsjem

Came across a y12 student using Heron's formula today instead of 1/2 ab sin C. I've never seen this in KS4 or KS5 mark schemes but now wonder if I've just missed it? Any thoughts #mathsTwitter? .@mrsouthernmaths @Whitehughes @missradders
