Anyone who has been to Maui knows the importance of the Lahaina Banyan Tree. I thought it would be lost after the fires two years ago, but just look at it now! So majestic!🙏

As a Native Hawaiian, I can't celebrate someone who blamed 'Hawaiian culture' for the deadly Maui wildfires that burned Lahaina, an epicenter of our Hawaiian culture.
More on the US that caused Hawaiians to burn in our cars in Lahaina due to blockades, stops us from getting aid in, set the fire with colonial-capitalist overtourism, destructive agriculture, and climate change caused by US' capitalist system: https://t.co/ZqRomIw1XB

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Shadows are underrated. The world would be weird without them. As demonstrated occasionally in Hawai's Lahaina Noon

If you’re looking for a laid-back beach day on the west side, #Launiupoko has a calm lava-rock pool & mellow breaks perfect for longboarding. With grassy lawns, barbecues and oceanfront picnic tables, it can get crowded, but on the right day, you can have a great full beach day.

@amyphanwest I’ve known this since the fire. Grew up here and have lived in the area for decades. It was the most desirable family community in Los Angeles. There was no water in the Palisades reservoir. The firemen itself was an inferno just like Lahaina. I watched the Huntington Palisades
