Whatever happened to the simple hyperdocument? :(
I have been humbled. Frontend is hard shit. Over the past 7 years I’ve done - ML dev - Blockchain - Backend - some android dev - Zero knowledge proofs - decent C and C++ - even done embedded dev with both C and Rust. But FE dev is hard and annoying asf.

What if the linux file system should be some form of graph? What if making the Open Hyperdocument Model (Engelbart) easier to implement needed os-level improvements & new protocols for domestic networks & the web? What if VR and AR also needed to run on a different type of os?

Finally tossed my SIG-CHI and CSCW proceedings from the early 90s but saved Douglas Engelbart's prescient "Knowledge-Domain Interoperability and An Open Hyperdocument System" (October 1990). He was then at the Bootstrap Project at Stanford.
