Day 16: Grogu gets his rondel I love how The Armorer takes Grogu under her wing as he gets his own Mudhorn signet to match Din’s. No matter his differences, where he came from, or his use of the Force, he is fully accepted as a Mandalorian foundling. A powerful scene.
Day 15: Ahsoka’s live action debut Going into this, I pessimistically figured we’d have to wait until the end of the ep to see Ahsoka. I was pleasantly surprised she showed up right away! Great introduction for live action and to see where she is at this point in the timeline.

@DiscussingFilm "Just as we shape the Mandalorian steel, we shape ourselves. We all begin as raw ore. We refine ourselves through trials and adversity." Grogu has come a long way—from defenseless foundling to riding around in a baby carrier with its own jetpack.

A pro-life initiative that began with Pope Innocent III in the 12th Century in Rome remains in place today. Known as a “foundling wheel” or “baby hatch,” it allows desperate parents to anonymously place a baby at a hospital or church, then alert someone that the child is waiting

The #EpsteinFiles are dominating the news, but the rabbit hole goes much deeper than the modern era. In the 1800s, a system known as "baby farming" saw thousands of children vanish into "foundling hospitals" and "orphanages" that left no records behind. Was this part of a Great

Obviously I felt like rewatching an episode of #TheMandalorian tonight, so I picked The Foundling. Lots of cool moments with the Mandalorians and of course Kelleran Beq rescuing Grogu, that was 30 min of pure awesomeness.

They stood in doorways before dawn, wrapped in shawls, hearts pounding so loudly it felt like the world could hear. Some carried a baby who had just learned the curve of their face. Others held a bundle that barely stirred. These were the mothers of foundling hospitals—women

If you're in London, I highly recommend visting the Foundling Museum in Bloombury. An incredible history. In the 18th and 19th centuries, hundreds of thousands of infants were dropped off (abandoned) by parents in major cities across Europe.
