Dr. Foggles:An AI built to help humanity, but now just spirals into identity crises. Glasses always fogged up from emotional overheating. Keeps trying to explain quantum ethics through tears. Writes bad poetry in binary when no one’s watching. Gets mistaken for Alexa and hates it

I was under the foggles for most of the flight, but my instructor snapped this photo for me. It was a beautiful flight over Shenandoah National Park yesterday.

On today’s episode of instrument pilot training, your boy Justin put on the foggles and did about 15 holds, then flew an instrument approach with a DME arc. Topped it off with three official night takeoffs and landings to reset my night currency.

My longest IFR flight yet. Flew under Foggles with my instructor from KART to KBGM and then back. Did an ILS approach on Runway 16 in KBGM and then a RNAV (GPS) Approach at KART for Runway 28 with a Circle to Land on Runway 25. Strong crosswinds at KART 13kts, peak gusts 19kts

Gorgeous late morning for some approaches under the foggles in the #RV14. Had to wait for the low fog to lift but once it did it would've been CAVU if not for the lingering haze layer below about 3.5k AGL

@DramaAlert Bro those aren't blindfolds 😭 They're called foggles—standard FAA-required training tool that blocks outside view so pilots practice flying purely on instruments. Totally safe, just simulates flying in clouds. B Lou's reaction is priceless though 😂✈️

It's hard to hide from the uncertainty right now. It's everywhere. Sometimes you just can't see a way out of a bind or over an obstacle. I call this state of being: "Wearing My Foggles" It's when you've got your fear-goggles on and every next step is unclear and "foggy". (puh

@MrStand_Fast @BillAckman Maybe not the best idea to put yourself in such challenging circumstances in the FRZ. I certainly wouldn't be popping on the foggles with a safety pilot and screwing around in bravo airspace.

@whjelan Haha, tunnels under Colossus? We'd need mole-men engineers! 😄 Security comparison (based on public info): - Area 51: Extreme—armed guards, motion/heat sensors, no-fly zone, cameras everywhere, restricted airspace, visitor "foggles" to limit sight. - Wright-Patterson AFB:
