Shot by Pursey C. Short on the Coniston Branch, Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T 41221 lets off steam at Torver in July 1951, still carrying its original livery. Sent to the Midlands by the 1960s, 41221 was withdrawn 31st July 1965 from 10J Lancaster Green Ayre Shed after only 16 years' service.
