Scapps' financial illiteracy is outranked only by his stupidity. The impact of illegally appropriating another state's assets, lodged in good faith, on the perceived trustworthiness of EU banks would be catastrophic. The ECB said as much. Since when was theft a wise policy?
Isn't it completely bizarre that the EU is happy to tax its own citizens to support Ukraine, when it could be using Russia’s frozen money for the same purpose? Belgium's position is frankly ludicrous!
