Its almost dry by Pusha T. What can I say about this album. It is a masterpiece and Pusha's best project I have heard. I wasn't sure if Diet coke or I pray for you was better but damn its a good album. 8.9/10

kanye & pharrell going head to head on the production was gorgeous but pusha’s bars, cadence & delivery on that album were pristine. just so you remember, i pray for you, rock n roll & hear me clearly are def in top 15 pusha t songs of all time. the album has only one skip.

there’s a broader convo to be had here about how people have a really reductive view of “rapping about one topic.” all of pusha t’s lyrics revolve around dealing coke but if all you get out of his music is “i dealt coke,” that’s a reflection of you as a surface level listener
Rapping elite about the same shit over and over again and it sounding fire every single time is way more impressive than rapping mid across various topics & concepts
