Something interesting that I just found: There's an apparent Flynn effect in the Children of the NLSY cohort, where later cohorts are smarter. It's a real effect on g, too! It's entirely explained by smart moms having kids later.

About 30% of the American Black population (and about 50% of the Sub-Saharan African population is mentally unfit to stand trial by European standards and are free to commit any crime against Whites (murder, rape, assault, armed robbery, etc) without facing any criminal charges.
Shaquille Taylor killed Lillian Ludwig, but his IQ is TOO LOW, so courts are debating if he can stand trial. This wouldn't be the first time this has happened.

@MariaOrsicFeet @danishacarterr Your NLSY (1980-1990) IQ graph relies on outdated data with flaws: poor sampling, individual attrition with some groups less motivated to perform on a test, cultural bias. More recent research shows the gap narrows with adjustments, pointing to environmental, no inherent, causes.

New Article: I used the NLSY to see if intergenerational mobility in terms of income is at least partially caused by parent-child differences in IQ. My conclusion is that it is, to a substantial degree.

@richbrucebaxter Ideally the data would be public so anyone can verify (which is why the NLSY GSS ANES etc are so great). However due to regulations, it's not legal to publish the data.

Looking at sibling differences in IQ and different aspects of socioeconomic status (SES) in the NLSY '79, it's clear that income alone is too simplistic. Latent SES stratifies more than education, which does more than income, which does more than occupation.
Society is cognitively stratified: Smart people tend to earn higher educations and higher incomes, and to work in more prestigious occupations. This holds for people from excellent family backgrounds (Utopian Sample) and comparing siblings from the same families!

- Israel IQ is low due to non-Ashkenazi Jews and Arabs. - Jewish IQ is 6-12 points higher in nationally representative samples (e.g. NLSY, ABCD, Project Talent). - Evolution happens in one generation. The only accurate info here is that Jewish achievement is not due to just IQ.
