Starting Jan. 1, required occupancy for the 50% toll discount on the Dumbarton and San Mateo-Hayward bridges will increase from 2 to 3 or more people. Carpools, motorcycles and 2 people in 2-seat vehicles will also need a FasTrak Flex tag set to "3+" for the carpool discount.
