Sometimes we get stuck in negative cycles which can be difficult to get out of. We don't always see that we are doing it. I notice this a lot with children. But once they learn a simple process like this they gain a skill and a new way to challenge their thinking patterns.

@emilyharbrecht Hi Emily, the quickest way to complete and submit a self assessment return is with an online personal tax account If you can set up a government gateway account then you will be able to submit a return digitally without a need for printing the return. 1/2

@emilyharbrecht However, if you cannot complete and submit the return online then I suggest calling the helpline before 10am as it’s generally less busy at that time to ask if an adviser can send you a copy of the 15/16 tax return and supplementary pages. 2/2 Martin
