Then there are Soviet AH indicators. On Crossair Flight 498 crash. One of the factors to have contributed to the accident was probably the confusion of the pilot on interpreting the attitude indicator; he was initially trained on the Russian model instead of the Western model.
The difference is the "Sky pointer" (Jet a/c) shown on the left vs. the "Roll pointer" (@Garmin G1000) shown on the right. The advantage of the sky pointer is that it will always show you the closest direction to wings level. 👍 for "upset" conditions. https://t.co/7zpl7xpLrW
