Name a game that many games thought was disappointing or bad, but that you actually really loved.
Infinite Warfare's trailer managed to become the most disliked video ever on YouTube, only for it to have easily the best campaign and story in the entire series.

I understand that Fable 2 might be considered the best one (no idea, no PC port), but shitting on Fable 3 is just unnecessary.
Fable 3 is the only game I have replayed multiple times.

Hard agree, the MP was samey and dull but the campaign innovate so much (for a CoD game), it's sad to see the franchise step back to the same old formula.
@haruspis
I LOVED Infinite Warfare, especially the weird jet missions.
I was hoping weβd get more from that world, but it came out during sci-fi shooter fatigue, which pretty mush sealed its fate.
@thepjskittles
The space fighter controls were genuinely some of the most elegant that I've ever experienced in an FPS, I am genuinely surprised more hasn't been built on that!
@haruspis
Fallout 4.
I donβt like it as much as the other ones & the criticisms against its RPG systems are 100% true.
With that said, I think Bethesda did a really good job with worldbuilding and theming, and I enjoyed it a lot as a result. I like how hopeful and optimistic it is.
@haruspis
It was the first CoD game I ever bought or beat, and that was entirely because of the buzz I've heard from different Halo enjoyers. And I really enjoyed it! Just a fun military sci-fi adventure.
And the Jackal segments were incredible.
@haruspis
Yeah the classic WWII games are good for a historical context, but not COD world captured me as well as Infinite Warfare's did. I would have loved to have seen more.
@haruspis
It woulda been even better if we had starfighter dogfights in multiplayer
And dammit I'm still wanting that version of Space Oddity from the trailer
@haruspis
I legitimately loved it on launch. It was honestly a really fun game with a story and characters that hadn't been as memorable since Black Ops 2.
Not to mention the awesome aesthetic they went with which was essentially 'The Expanse' the video game.
