On day 1 of my "staycation" I stayed at the main stage of the maritime festival for great Celtic & maritime music. An old friend Steve Gedora is lead singer of "Wheat in the Barley" They play again at 12PM on day 2. There's a great fleet of boats, things for kids & food. Join us.

Plastics treaty talks have collapsed. Metro Vancouver has the best tap water in the world. I couldn't believe it when people started using bottled water. I never use it. Metro Vancouver cities should ban plastic water bottles & help "Save the Salish Sea"
