RIP and thank you Klaus! Catan turned my head in 2012 and made me realize I enjoyed tabletop games in my youth. In honor, my online gaming group will start a Klaus Teuber Memorial Tournament using my League of Catan template.

So sad to lose Klaus Teuber. What a giant. Those of you not in the gaming world in the 90’s may find it hard to appreciate how hugely important Catan was to the global gaming community.

On Day 5 of the @SpielMas festival, I went back to my roots. I’m still away from home, tending to an ailing relative, but my lovely wife and I played a game of Catan on @boardgamearena. It was the first game we ever played 20+ years ago! #SpielMas ⛄️

On Day 4 of the annual @spielmas festival I was able to get in a few games of at the end of the day with my lovely wife on @boardgamearena. I’m still caregiving my C19+ aunt, which reminds to celebrate this privilege with every day of the festival. Play on! #SpielMas

On Day 3 of the @SpielMas ⛄️ festival, I didn’t get to play a game. My elderly aunt tested positive for COVID, so I have become a caregiver instead. It only makes our annual celebration all that more special. Play when you can, and cherish the moment! #SpielMas

Day 2 of @SpielMas, and I taught old friends a new game: Codenames. We played 2 teams of 4 and got 2 rounds in before having to end early in a draw. Still, the comment was “I was just warming up!” Always a good sign when you teach a new game! #SpielMas ⛄️
