Daily, Hands at Work volunteers travel to visit the most vulnerable in the communities that we serve. Often, the roads are unpredictable and, at times, dangerous. Thank God for the protection that He gives, and continue to ask Him to protect those who are travelling.

Today, on World Day against Child Labour, pray with us for each child who is a victim of child labour. Pray that they will experience God's comfort and protection. Pray for people who love God to speak up on their behalf and advocate for change. #DayAgainstChildLabour

Relationship Groups are safe places for our Care Workers, Primary Caregivers and children to share their challenges, hear from God's word and pray together. We pray that through these times, they experience the healing that can only come from Jesus!

In every way I’ve shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ - Acts 20:34-35

An aspect of ensuring the health care of our children involves regular deworming. This deworming ensures that our children receive the proper nutrients from their daily meal.

Please continue to pray for the evolving situation regarding the drought across Africa. Pray that Hands leadership will have wisdom in knowing the best response and how to care for our children and their families in the best way.

Reflecting the God’s love for all the children around him, Bonginkosi takes his kingdom responsibilities with as much intentionality and delight as every other part of his job. He knows and shows that "the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

With emergency services often over-stretched and underfunded, it can fall to our local leaders to accompany and advocate for our unwell children in order to get treatment at hospitals.
