Today, I spoke at the Energy Export Conference in Aberdeen #EEC24 organised by @TheEICEnergy A great event where I presented the @HorizonEU to industry experts. Scotland participated in Horizon2020 to the tune of 101M€. They are eligible again. Let's hope they re-apply soon!

The first European Hydrogen Bank auctions have delivered. Oversubscribed and a wide variety of projects funded. Expect a bigger auction later in the year.
🏦On 30 April, the results of the European #HydrogenBank’s first #auction were announced. 7⃣ projects across the 🇪🇺 will receive €720 million to produce 1.58 million tonnes of #renewableh2, avoiding over 10Mt of CO2 emissions. 🗞Read our analysis:

Delighted to be part of #celebrateJET yesterday. I was part of the JET team for the world record pulses of 1991 and 1997. Great to see past colleagues. Fusion has a great future and lots of technology relevant to today's challenges, e.g. hydrogen handling, robotics, etc.

#EGYPES conference is where 'big oil' meets renewable and hydrogen. 192000 visitors over 4 halls and 5 conference tracks. Big oil says, "Don't stop oil investment until renewables are delivered" The hydrogen conference said, "we need research and infrastructure now!"
