I'm in Asheville, where I was born, until tomorrow. I went to Green Mountain on Saturday to cover the hurricane's damage. I met a few people including Tony Johnson. Two of his homes were swept away from the area his great-grandfather bought.

I saw hundreds of texts between fired officer Helton and the MPD chief. On the chief's part, the texts were lewd in nature. The city has since fired her, and she has filed an EEOC complaint. The city declined to comment about specific allegations.
