do NOT use passkeys as a login 2fA... I'm looking at you @npmjs. this is so dumb. I have my username/password accessed from my password manager, which requires my passkey. and then I login with that username/password, and npm immediately asks for my passkey 2fa. Ugh.

passkeys are meant to be an alternate/replacement for username/password. they are NOT meant to annoy the shit out of users by double-prompting as 2fA. +@npmjs
