this is what kids are watching instead of life lessons from cartoons that help with very necessary character development

@gbennylola i keep explaining to older ppl that streamers and influencers are the ‘media’ that kids/teens consume… like they’re not all collectively watching certain shows as regular parts of their lives… it’s this degenerate behaviour from streamers that is basically molding their minds.

@gbennylola Majority of twitch viewers are males aged 18-34 years old (50%) and 13-17 years old (21%). This content is not much different than what we were watching as teens back in the day. Make teenagers watch shows with adult themes that are also immature… South Park, Family Guy,

@gbennylola Personal responsibility is the responsibility of parents to moderate and monitor the content that their children consume.

@gbennylola I was just talking about this . The reason kids are different these days is because of the internet. Streaming is the new Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

@gbennylola This what I’m saying. I feel like a lot of people who didn’t gain any virtues or good spirit weren’t watching shows that gave us some great lessons about life! #JusticeLeague

@gbennylola What we had was structured around teaching life skills and literacy while entertaining us. These shows reinforced reading, speaking clearly, sharing, patience, empathy, and creativity. Kids today don’t get that… just endless streams & noise.

@gbennylola I went to my friends son’s bday party. He was turning 11. Him and his friends were having conversations that was way too old for them. The internet and content is so accessible now, the kids are consuming the same stuff that adults are. It’s scary.

@gbennylola @Kashai_ I blame the parents, I believe you should always monitor what your kids are watching when under your roof.
