I’ve been testing ads for my

template the past few days.
1 million impressions, 2600 link clicks, but so far no sales.
It had a discount code in the ad, but it didn’t help.
I’ll run it again, but switch out the text and visuals. Hopefully it’ll help.

This took longer than expected as I had issues with the clipping paths and had to rework my idea a bit.
I ended up using strokes instead using clipping paths and it worked fine.

Testing
@rive_app
for a project today.
This is just a quick test with an Illustrator SVG import.
Very easy to use if you’re used to working with key frames and timelines. Definitely have to spend more time with this.

I just discovered a nice feature in
@rive_app
today.
You can slow down your animation by highlighting all keyframes, alt+drag the last keyframe to make the animation slower or quicker.
I've used the feature for years in AE so it's great to see it here too 👌

It's very different from the old one, but a big improvement.
I haven't used GSAP for a few years but it's nice to see that it's still thriving.
You can do so much with it, it's crazy.

Shopping bag animation in
@rive_app
A simple trim path animation for a navbar icon.
The opening of the bag was a bit tricky though..
I had to figure out how to keyframe the path of the handle and adjust it so it looked it opened with the bag.
Turned out okay, I think.

Lock morph animation made in

.
Been a while since I animated anything, so I needed the practice.
I put the ring inside a group so I could move the anchor point so it rotated from the bottom and not the middle. Took me a while to figure out but it worked!

It looks quite simple, but it took a while to set up the state machine so the developers could handle the states on the app side.

I reworked the layouts (on the left) to use autolayout for better responsive scaling.
I ended up using the CropTop plugin to align the images.
It's not ideal, but works for now.
It took about 2 min to adjust and export everything. A big improvement from earlier.
