While I’m not going to be up in arms about the use of Latinos. It’s really melodramatic to be indignant over the birth of a new word. Language is ever-moving and evolving and if it were stagnant we’d be speaking very differently.

Also you cannot colonize a language that is already colonial. That’s just stupid. The x, the @, the -e has roots in Latin America with people claiming its usage.
This is a fake outrage. It’s a silly argument time and time again.

I’m a Spanish speaking migrant. You’re talking to the wrong person. You gloss over Latin Americans that aren’t from the US using gender neutral alternatives.
Think Zapatistas pamphlets from the 90s. This is a stupid thing to mad over considering you can still use “Latinos.”
