Our #Tuberculosis story is finally out!🥳🍾 We isolated 2 #antibodies from an infected patient, solved their structures and showed they protect mice from a pathogenic Tb challenge. Such a long endeavor but I am thrilled with the result! @javid_lab

The Israeli spirit of freedom will not be broken. We will keep creating, thinking, investigating, researching. We will eventually win these psychos Ayatollahs who has been aiming to destroy Israel and all free world for so long.
This is the most Israeli thing I’ve seen. Taken at the Weizmann Institute of Science, following the Iranian attack.

Another study from our lab💥🎊🍾 led by the super talented #MDPhD student @ron_yefet. He found a new target for neutralizing antibodies that attack #Mpox virus, discovered the mechanism and tested them in mice. A collab with @institutpasteur @Guardado_Calvo @Virus_Immunity.
1/11 New preprint alert! Our latest @freund_lab study in which we dissect how the immune system fights #Mpox and identify potent human neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (#mAbs) that target a novel key viral protein, #MpoxA28. Now on biorxiv: .

1/3 Proud to share our work published in @JCI_insight focusing on antibodies to cancer. #MET is a long-known factor involved in cancer, and a target for #cancer therapy, but natural #Abs developed to this receptor during cancer were not described.

Today was @Noam_Ben_Shalom's last day in my lab. I'm so honored to have been his mentor. As @ZivShulman once told me, the biggest achievement is producing great students and scientists. Noam, I wish you all the best in your postdoc at @WashU! We will miss you! #proudPI #PhDone

Interesting story from @MOUQUETHugo1 about how antibodies produced by B regs in the neonate regulate early microbiome diversity. Cool stuff!.
nBregs & early-life microbiota.Newborn regulatory B cells (nBreg) autocrinally regulate IgM via IL-10. mAbs from intestinal nBregs react against diverse bacteria, highlighting role of nBreg Abs in microbial diversity & early-life microbiota communities.

Inherited TNF deficiency is a new genetic aetiology of recurrent pulmonary TB in adults. What about induced (therapeutic) TNF blockade in LTBI individuals or those living in TB endemic regions?.
1/ Exactly one year after my PhD defense, I am very excited to share with you the last chapter of my thesis published today in @Nature about humans with inherited TNF deficiency:
