A car you may have missed at #FOS this year is this 1973 #Chevrolet Chevelle, raced by 1983 #NASCAR Cup Series Champion Bobby Allison. Powering this American powerhouse up the #FOS Hill was a 427 Chevrolet big-block engine so you can only imagine the rumble it made on its way up.

The Renault Sport Spider-based Helem V6 actually managed to pass prequalifying at Le Mans in 1998 and made it to the the LM24 until the car failed scrutineering, between prequalifying and the race the chassis was modified out of homologation, the engine becoming a stressed member
