What are your change vs. keep items for when you build the next product?.
If I'd do it again, what I'd change vs keep same. Same:.- Choose blue ocean over red ocean.- Stay bootstrapped & BIP.- Invest in UI/UX early. Different:.- Focus on one customer type.- Usage-based pricing model, not fixed.- Less (but not 0) platform risk.- Consider a cofounder.

Each week I come across a new @gummy_search clone. Those that build on the idea and improve the UX, I truly want that maker to succeed. Those that just copy features/design/copy without effort, I pity. It takes a lot to win in this new age of SaaS, laziness won't cut it.

A few years ago I built a personal tool to search/analyze Reddit communities. Eventually I decided to let others try it. First version didn't even have a login or database. I'm glad I did. Today @gummy_search crosses 100k users. Thank you to all that are part of the journey!
