I have heard about this from a coworker who lives in Hawaii (not white).
And I think the Robinson family owning the island actually saved it from US colonialism and destruction.
Maybe they just flipped the bird with this vote lol

Ni'ihau is the last community in which Hawaiian stjll survives as a primary spoken language. The private property of the white Robinson family since 1864, the island has just several dozen voters, all native Hawaiian. And in 2020 every single one of them voted for Trump

Definitely could be the case. My guess is some sleazy outsider either bought their votes or converted all the islanders to Mormonism or some kind of far-right Pentecostal church

That too, a case of most nobody voted (because let's be honest what would be the point), and a loud voice convincing a small group of people to go along with them.
