Pneumonia is the #1 infectious killer of children, but vaccine costs can limit how many children are reached. New guidance from @WHO SAGE says that countries with strong PCV programs can switch to a reduced dosing schedule to save resources & expand reach.

Promising news: for the first time, @WHO has prequalified a maternal RSV vaccine to protect infants. Now, we are working on how to deliver it in lower-income countries, where 99% of RSV deaths occur to protect those most at risk.
