We got a species I haven’t collected before on the @Scripps_Ocean RVSproul! Lepidopus fitchi, Pacific Scabbardfish. A benthopelagic species found from 150-500 m. Caught in a 340 m bottom trawl off SD conducted for the undergrad Methods in Biological Oceanography class!
