When the late John Lewis won the National Book Award in 2016, he recalled being denied access to the library as a boy. To think, kids can go into #libraries today but are being denied access to books. To think, we are still fighting for the right to read. #RightToReadDay

Today, on the 110th anniversary of her passing, is Harriet Tubman Day. Her recognition of the horror of slavery allows us to understand why she kept going back to lead people out. May we celebrate her today and every day.
