very good news: second opinion is in. the short of it is, radiologist believes this to be arthritic rather than cancerous. we are not ruling it out- and she is not out of the woods yet either- but i have more time with her than the vet initially led me to believe.

so now we are moving onto pain treatments only for the moment. gabapentin or steroids are the main options, they also offer acupuncture. for cats! how crazy is that? what a world
so essentially, she does have issues still. but those issues are not a "weeks to live" type scenario

so, now i really feel bad for going and shouting to the world that my cat is dying, but that was what the vet told me! im so sorry 😣
im incredibly happy that she may have been wrong. and, since we now are fairly sure she has more time than that, i will be heading to fwa tmrw!!
